Hi everyone! Tonight's New Years Eve and if you're looking to go out tonight, or to a friends house to celebrate, well you'll likely want some glam makeup to help you celebrate. I've created this cut crease look with just a hint of glitter that everyone will love. I know a lot of people would love to bathe themselves in glitter tonight, but I also know a lot of people don't like to use glitter, so here's my compromise. I kept the look quite neutral and added a hint of glitter, if you'd like more go for it, if you don't want it don't add it. But If there was ever a night to cut your crease, it's tonight. Keep reading to see a complete step by step pictorial and all the products and brushes I used.
Here's what I used for the eyes:
- NYX Wicked Palette (I used all the brown shades, the darkest one above the light blue is the one I used to cut the crease)
- Maybelline gel liner in blackest black
- Glisten by Morphebrushes
- Honeychild by Looxi Beauty
- Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
- NYX liner in Crystal Gold
- LA Girl Pro Conealer in Pure Beige
- L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara
Here are the brushes I used for this look. Using the right brushes for this look can help so much! I've labelled them to the best of my ability above. The angled liner brush is key to this look. I used it to create the cut crease, and to apply the concealer on the lid, and to apply the gel liner. The small blending brush and fluffy crease brush (which is angled) was used to apply medium shades of brown above the cut crease. The flat blending brush was used to apply the darkest shade of brown above the cut crease. The small crease brush and the pointed crease brush were used to blend shades together and below the lower lash line. Lastly the flat packer brush was used to pack on the lid color. If you can find similar brushes (or better) in your collection, it will really help!
Now...onto how I achieved the look! I'll show you step by step below.

Voila! That is exactly how to create this New Years Eve cut crease with glitter. I know that cut creases can be really intimidating but I promise if you practice, you'll get it.
