I first heard of this mask from an Instagram post by @thenorthernpretty (aka Bonnie). She saw a shopper with about a dozen of these in their cart and asked someone about it. An employee at Sephora described the benefits of this mask and she was sold. I trust Bonnie's opinion and she said she loved this mask and would recommend it to others. Therefore...I needed this mask and luckily received it as a gift!

Price + Packaging
This mask is sold at Sephora for $30 for 2.7 oz. This is actually a lot of product at an EXTREMELY decent price (for Sephora anyways). I honestly think this is among some of the cheapest masks sold at Sephora.
The packaging is very appropriate. The blue clearly makes you think of hydration, and the jar is designed elegantly. I really do like the frosted appearance of the jar.
Benefits
This mask, which is good for all skin types, is meant for deep hydration. It's definitely intended to be an overnight treatment which I find unique - thus the name water sleeping mask.
What it is formulated to do:
"Recharge dehydrated skin overnight. This unique mask is formulated with highly concentrated ionized mineral water and ceramides to deliver intense doses of moisture to stressed, parched skin. Aromatic Sleepscent - orange flower, rose, and sandalwood - relaxes and rejuvenates while apricot and chestnut extracts exfoliate, brighten, and purify fatigued skin. The result: skin looks and feels radiant, refreshed, and soft. Wake up to soft, glowing skin."

First Impressions
Honestly, I don't notice any special scents in this product, it just smells light and fresh. It's not overpowering in my opinion so it should be fine for those who are sensitive to scents. The texture of the product is a gel-like consistency and it spreads so easily over the face. Like, better than water. I may be exaggerating, but I love putting this on.
I use this at the end of the night after I'm done everything in my skin care routine. I apply it evenly over my face using my fingers, enjoy the shiny-ness on my face, and wait about 10 minutes before I actually go to sleep. It dries a little tacky, and then I lay down and go to sleep. This DOES NOT leave any residue or sticky feeling on the pillowcase. So, don't even worry about that. I sleep on my sides and rotate and haven't found it to be a problem at all. When I wake up in the morning, it has completely absorbed into my skin and sometimes I can find myself forgetting I put it on the night before until I wash my face and can feel it being washed off.
My skin tends to be normal to dry and sometimes I get dry patches (especially when I'm not moisturizing or when I'm using spot acne treatments that cause dryness). I don't have dry patches after I use this mask. I don't look shiny the morning after using this mask (which I almost expected to because I associate a shiny face with hydration, is it just me?) but it does feel soft and hydrated in a subtle way.
Overall Thoughts
I do like this mask and would recommend it to others. I likely won't use this every week, but once in a while when my skin appears dull or dehydrated and I want to replenish the moisture. I also would personally use this on very long flights (e.g. 8+ hours) to make sure being on a plane doesn't dry out my skin, and because you can sleep with this mask on, you don't have to worry about that either!
If you have this mask, let me know what you think about it below. If you don't have this mask and still have questions, let me know and I will answer them in the comments below.
