I'm back with another review! If you missed my last review on the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation, please check it out HERE.
More on topic, I've had the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette for about two months now, and I know this review is late but I still wanted to share my honest thoughts on this product. If you're looking into buying it, definitely keep reading!

Price
The cost of this palette is...hefty. It runs about $65 USD and about $85 CAD. It's the type of product you really want to do your research and make sure you like it before you drop a bunch of money on it. You do get 18 eyeshadows from this palette, which is more than most and you get specially formulated eyeshadows in the palette (aka the textured shadows).
Packaging
Lots of people have said a great many things about the packaging. Personally, I like the packaging. The sleeve matches the packaging of their eyelashes, and I really like it. Huda's eyes are insanely gorgeous! Underneath, the packaging of the eyeshadow palette is somewhat similar to a Z palette; it's made of cardboard and has a magnet to snap it close. I have travelled with this palette, and it's light and easy to travel with. The one thing I wish it had was a mirror!
Shade Selection + Swatches
The shade selection in this palette is so perfect! It has a little bit of everything in the bottom two rows. Highlight shades (matte and shimmer), crease and transition shades, lid shades. On top of that, you get what the palette is known for - the top row of textured shadows.
I love the shades of the textured shadows, they just speak to me on so many levels! Copper, rose gold, gold, red?! Yes please! However, I'm not 100% impressed with the shadows themselves, and here's why. You can only use your finger to apply these (they just don't come off well with a brush, but there are ways around that though) so the application is pretty hard to get precise. Many times I've wanted to use them in a cut crease look but I just can't get the shadows to apply as precisely as I need for that type of look. In addition, when applied to the lid, I feel that they come off sort of patchy. From far away, it looks nice and adds a very pretty lustre and shine to the eyes. Up close, you can see the patches, even if applied on top of similar coloured eyeshadow. I do like to use them, but if the formula was tweaked a bit to fix those issues I would love it even more.
In terms of the bottom two rows of matte shadows, they are fairly pigmented and blend easily. There are a few shadows that don't have amazing pigmentation, for example Black Truffle and Sandalwood. However I don't think that this interferes at all when using it on the eyes due to how they are used. If you wanted more pigmented versions of these colors you can try Morphebrushes single shadows, I've found them to be quite pigmented.

Overall Thoughts
I think you can create a lot of different looks with this palette, it looks very pretty and I love the color theme of the palette. However, I do think that for the price, I would not repurchase. If it was a little cheaper and had better formula on the textured shadows, I would be 100% down to recommend this palette to everyone. If you have the money to splurge, go for it. If you don't, save your money and pass on this palette.
