This is my second special holiday look (and I LOVE it!); if you want to check out my first you can do so HERE. This look is just so gorgeous, I know you'll love it too. If you want to see how I created this look, definitely check out my instagram @themakeupdiaryblog for a video on the steps.
Here are the products I used on the eyes:
- Morphebrushes Wisteria e/s
- BH Cosmetics 88 Color Matte Eyeshadow Palette (purple shades)
- Colourpop Cosmetics Get Lucky e/s
- Maybelline Gel Liner in Blackest Black
- Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
- Red Cherry Lashes in #217
Here are the steps to recreate this look:
- Create a base - I used Urban Decay Primer Potion and then set it with a skin colored eyeshadow to help the rest of the eyeshadows blend better.
- Start with Wisteria on a large fluffy blush, blend throughout the crease and into the inner corner of the eye. Build this up until you have the intensity you want.
- Slow add darker matte purple shadows on top, blend thoroughly. As you get darker, switch to a smaller fluffy crease brush.
- Use your finger to apply Get Lucky to the lids and blend the edges into the purple. You may have to reapply to get the intensity you want.
- On the middle of the lower lash line and in the inner corner of the eye, add Get Lucky. Use the purple shadows on either side of the gold on the lower lash line and blend out.
- Add any light or highlighter shade to the browbone.
- Apply liner, curl lashes and apply mascara.
- Apply lashes (optional).
